About 4 years ago, Dr. Mark Boland performed a tummy tuck for me. I had been dieting for "years" and finally lost 90 pounds....everywhere but my stomach. I had never had surgery before, much less cosmetic surgery, so I was unsure, somewhat skeptical, and had no idea what to expect.

Dr. Boland was amazing! He talked with me and explained everything. We discussed the actual surgery, the hospital, the recovery, the cost, the expectations, everything. I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Boland, and I scheduled my surgery.

There is not a day that goes by that I don't love my new body. Everything that Dr. Boland told me was correct...no surprises. This surgery changed my life! That's no exaggeration. I will never regret my "first" reconstructive surgery.

So I healed and I reveled in the sight of having a flat tummy. Then 2 years later came the breast reduction. I always had large breasts, and they did not go away when I lost weight. The largeness of my breasts made my back ache and my shoulders sore. Bras never fit, shirts always a size or 2 bigger than the size I could have worn if my breasts were in relation with the rest of me.

Dr. Boland to the rescue. He again explained everything to me and we went forward with breast reduction surgery.

The recovery time was only a few days. I was back at work by the 4th day. The entire experience was painless and went smoothly. I went from a 38DD to a 38B and feel fantastic! No more back pain, no shoulder aches every day. I am thrilled with the results.

I used to think I had to live with the growing painful lumps of ‘lipoma’ that were all over my arms.  But after going to see Dr. Boland, I found these could be removed in a simple, short office procedure without any pain and without noticeable scarring.  I have continued to get lipomas for over 15 years and Dr. Boland has taken care of these for me along with scar tissue from bug bites and many very ugly looking moles and keratoses (those scalely things we get as we age).  Dr. Boland and his esthetician, Debra Davis, have treated me for Rosacea, with lasers for the smaller veins and IPL for the overall general redness as well as creams to lessen the red appearance.  My results are great.

More recently, I broke my nose.  Dr. Boland performed outpatient surgery, fixing some broken interior nose structures while straightening my nose.  I am pleased with the results.

Deb has removed the hair on my legs and under my arms with lasers and performed minor chemical peels to really enhance my facial skin and clear up sun damage.  Now I look younger and do not shave but once every 3 months or so for that ‘stray’ hair.

I get Botox at Dr. Boland’s for facial wrinkles on my forehead; it really works wonders.  I have also had some sclerotherapy and laser treatment for leg blood vessels that were problematic.  I am now 59 years old and still work professionally.  I believe that maintaining my appearance has helped my career in many ways.

I first went to Dr. Boland’s to have my waist put in proportion with the rest of my body.  I have always had a larger waist (a family trait) and had to buy larger clothes than the rest of me to accommodate my waist.  Dr. Boland liposuctioned my waist and I was pleased with the results.  He was very kind to me and made me feel comfortable.  Immediately after the outpatient surgery you could see the results.

Several years later, I had Dr. Boland remove a large fatty tumor on my back that was unsightly and uncomfortable.

Later he treated me for acne control.  This included some medications, and special facial treatments with Deb Davis.  Deb also lasered off the hair on my arm pits which is wonderful to never have to shave under your arms.

When I got married, Dr. Boland removed a large facial mole from my husband’s face that had always irritated him.  Dr. Boland’s office is a great place to come for so many reasons and he is very kind.
